Hi, I’m Kyara — the owner and artist behind Mona Kay Beauty.

I began my journey in beauty after leaving an unfulfilling office job and realizing I wanted to create work that felt meaningful, creative, and personal. Since 2017, I’ve specialized in Brows and Lashes with a focus on natural beauty, honesty, education, and results that feel timeless rather than trendy.

As a solo mom of four boys, building this business hasn’t always been easy, but it’s become something I’m deeply proud of. My goal has always been to create more than just beautiful results — I want every client to feel heard, comfortable, cared for, and confident in the experience they’re receiving.

Lash extensions involve attaching one extension to one natural lash for a mascara-like enhancement that adds length, definition, and subtle fullness. Perfect for clients wanting an everyday polished look without appearing overly dramatic.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Please arrive with clean skin/lashes and avoid caffeine before your appointment if possible. For lash services, arrive makeup-free with no mascara or eyeliner residue. For brow appointments, avoid retinol, exfoliants, tanning, or excessive sun exposure around the brow area 5–7 days prior. Proper preparation helps ensure the best possible results and retention.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. I kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or reschedules. Appointments changed with less than 24 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service cost. No-shows may be charged 100% of the service cost and prevented from future bookings.
How do I know if the service is right for me?
Every client’s features, lifestyle, and goals are different. During your appointment, we’ll customize your service based on the look you’re wanting to achieve- whether that’s soft and natural, more defined, or fully transformative. If you’re unsure of what to book, feel free to reach out prior to scheduling and I’ll gladly guide you in the right direction.
